About Us
About Faber Jiu Jitsu
Faber Jiu Jitsu is a premier Jiu Jitsu School in Warwickshire. We aim to build a training hub for everyone with the mutual goal of improving their lifestyle, fitness and Jiu Jitsu.
Our aim is to develop a culture of learning, hard work and hard training. We focus on teaching a complete and overall understanding of what makes Jiu Jitsu work, enabling our students to understand the ‘why’ of each position. By building an understanding of the underlying principles and concepts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu our students will be empowered with the freedom to then creatively develop their own style, and take charge of their own training.

Concepts

Each topic taught will be introduced using a key underlying concept of the technique/position. This gives a simple rule set or plans to follow which will enable the practitioner to understand the key aspects of the technique/position
Details
The devil is in the detail and that is especially true in jiu jitsu. All the sessions have a focus on the key details of each position/technique with multiple methods of teaching aids used to reinforce whats being taught. We expose you to many teaching methods to give you the best chance for improvement.
Systems
No technique is effective in isolation; the key to success is the development of an effective repertoire of techniques. All of the content at Faber Jiu Jitsu is taught in the context of how they sit in their respective systems. This will give you an understanding of your route of progression and enable you to build your game effectively.
Head Coach
Ben Robson
Ben is the head coach of Faber Jiu Jitsu and has over a decade of experience. Ben is one of Europe's top athletes who continually aspires to fly the flag for both team and nation. Ben has amassed a long resume of accolades in Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and Wrestling including becoming a 6x British Champion, Italian Champion, and Welsh Champion. Ben is active in professional grappling promotions including Polaris, Grapplefest, and Grapple Kings. Despite a long resume Ben aims to become one of the best coaches in Europe and allow all members to excel.
